Free Web Forms to collect info.

Web Forms are often the easiest way to collect information from users. I have looking out for viable options to collect contact information from my school alumni.

I tried Google Forms(docs.google.com) & Formsmarts(formsmarts.com).
Both offered features like
  • Create web form (with desired fields)
  • Embedding the form in websites/blogs.
Google Forms offered the feature of emailing these forms but the mail recipient seems to be restricted to @gmail.com domain, which is irking.

Ok, here are the samples.

Google introduces Chrome, a faster, easier & safer web browser

Following the release of IE 8 beta, we have yet another new browser on the block, the Google Chrome.
The later looks very promising though. Google claims Chrome to be a faster, easier & safer browser.

From the feature list, it is evident that Chrome is an open source product .
  • New conceptualization of multi-tabbed browsing. Each tab works as a different process ( A counter to the classic Firefox problem, more the tabs you have, more the possibility of crash).
  • The best part is that the V8 javascript engine used can be plugged into other browsers like Firefox.
For more details, check out these Google pages.
